The Mentorship Journey
With every part of nature under siege, we enter the most important spiritual journey of our times. One that cultivates the courage, compassion and insight needed to co-create mutually enhancing relationships with one another and all Life.
The Shamanu Mentorship is an invitation to reclaim our ecological and cosmic birthright and remember our innate interdependence within the web of life. We enter the question: How do we deepen resonance with the creative dynamics of Nature and the Universe and be the hands and hearts that enable all life and humanity to flourish?
Turning to the wild wisdom of Earth and powers of the Universe as our mentors and guides, this soul journey and call to action empowers us to be present in the healing of ourselves, our communities and the Earth with reborn clarity, wonderment and purpose. The Shamanu Mentorship offers an opportunity to realign our lives with the living Earth and the self-healing energies of the Universe.
A rich tapestry of eco-philosophies, cosmogenesis, indigenous teachings, eco-somatic embodiment practices, Earth rituals, visionary journeys and personal transformation strategies offer a comprehensive support system to traverse the spiritual and physical transformations required for the coming era. Our embodiment practices translate abstract concepts into tangible experiences, ensuring the journey is experiential and practical.

The Process
This comprehensive journey invites a profound shift of consciousness, offering ample space, consistency, tools, and support for radical ecological, social, and spiritual transformation over eight months.
Core processes guide participants from familiar terrain to their creative edge, where a more authentic self awaits, supported by embodied practices and community engagement.
Embodied practices and community help you overcome emotional resistance and pitfalls that waste vital energy.
Contemplative practices help you transform psychological blockages that prevent seeing your way forward into life-enhancing relationships, vocations and societies.
Eco-somatic Practices
The Shamanu Mentorship is an embodied integration process that supports you in finding the inspired pathways in your life. A non-linear inquiry and exploration that taps us into a space of potential creativity and healing. Informed by the spontaneity of one’s own body knowing, we lean with curiosity into eco-cosmic wisdom, the field that gave birth to us all. We open to a deep internal spaciousness where the not-yet-known may be sensed and engaged with. Sessions are highly experiential, including Primordial Movement, Elemental Dance, Breath & Sound explorations, The Five Elements Rituals and Earth meditations, a Clarity Quest, and Visionary journeys.
Inspired Leadership
The Mentorship serves as an incubator for the visions of a new Story to ripen into reality, fostering leadership from the inside out through conscious community and land-based experiences at The Living Centre. We explore leadership from the inside out. Great joy and meaning come when you realize the unique gifts that are alive within you.
Mentorship Details & Dates
The transformative process unfolds across three seasons, each offering deep exploration, integration, and reflection, culminating in a profound harvest of insights and growth.
Through residential immersions, online sessions, and one-on-one mentorship, participants engage in practices that honour the Earth, embody wisdom, and cultivate leadership for a just and thriving future.

Meet your instructors
Lorenna
Main Facilitator: Lorenna Bousquet-Kacera, is an Earth ceremonialist and Métis grandmother of Lakota and French descent. Her heritage and spiritual insights have shaped her life and path of service. For 35 years, she has tended, embodied and stewarded the inter-arts languages she calls Shamanu: Earth-Wisdom Teachings (est 1989) and WomanEarth (best 2005), a branch of the Shamanu Teaching. Lorenna is a Certified Permaculture Educator, Ayurvedic Living Nutrition and Sevenfold Path of Peace instructor and offers Eco-spiritual Lifestyle guide. LEARN MORE
Supportive Facilitator: Danielle Denichaud is a daughter of the Earth, a student of eco-spirituality, regenerative healing praxes, and herbal medicine. Danielle stewards embodied languages that activate wonderment, felt sense and compassion; in service to peace and the mutual thriving of all Earth kin. She has professional training in Holistic Nutrition, Trauma-honouring Somatic Processes and Medical Qi-Gong. Danielle is a PhD Candidate at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Her work and research center cultivating resilient languages of earth stewardship, individual wellness and relational harmony. Learn more
Guest Facilitator: Shantree Kacera, D.N., Ph.D., co-director and founder of The Living Centre, brings 45 years of devotion to an Earth path rooted in an in-depth understanding of the spirit of the plant world. He brings practical wisdom through the language of Ayurveda, our relationship with the Element and how they express themselves through us as health, dis-ease, inspiration and intelligence. He offers nutritional knowledge that makes living in connection with nature easy and fulfilling. Shantree has his Ph.D. in Nutrition, is a Certified Herbalist Elder with the Ontario Herbal Association, an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Certified Permaculture teacher, and is the beloved husband of Lorenna.
