WomanEarth: Rewilding the Sacred Feminine – King City Ontario

“Within every woman, there is a wild and natural creature, a powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity, and ageless knowing. Her name is Wild Woman, but she is an endangered species.” ~ Women Who Run with the Wolves

March 31 to April 2, 2023

In this time of great social and ecological crisis women from all walks of life are being called to come together and re-embody the elegant wild wisdom and power of the Sacred Feminine. Instinctively she knows that the long forgotten balance between the sacred feminine and masculine energies is essential for the healing of oneself and our world.

In a patriarchal system this is no easy task.  Cultural indoctrinations plant themselves into the psyche of a child’s mind from before birth, shaping behaviour, habit, personality and desire, undermining the wild instinctive feminine and her ancient knowing. The feminine has been taught to hide in the shameful shadows – to be a ‘good girl’.

Yet, the Sacred Wild Feminine has never been fully tamed – only held captive. Resting in the arms of Mother Earth she has waited patiently for her time to return. That time is now.

So, who are ‘You’ outside of these unspoken agreements with the patriarch? Let’s find out.

We enter this journey in the ways that women have always done – through our bodies and story. Earth-centred movement, dance, sound, archetypal play, conversation & silence are our matrix to explore:

  • Who is the Sacred Feminine, her many textures and expressions
  • Instinctual knowledge and the Dream of the Earth
  • The healing implications for oneself and the Earth when feminine life-force energy is reclaimed and directed
  • Distinguishing truth from indoctrination and the beliefs that keep one bound
  • Healing through pleasure
  • Leaning into Fear as the way into freedom
  • Opening & Closing Fire Ceremonies
  • A Heart-opening Cacao Ceremony

The Wild One is refined, spacious, and when need be, fierce and direct. But mostly, she is Love so pure that it transforms the ground she stands on.

Lorenna Bousquet-Kacera is the founder of Shamanu: Earth Wisdom Teachings (est. 1989), a grandmother and daughter of the Earth. She has grown Earth-centered training pathways which she has shared across North America and in Costa Rica. Weaving story and wise council, she supports us at this time of global transformation to return emboldened to Earth and our human wildness.

For 40 years, Lorenna has mentored ‘change makers’ from all walks of life. Her teachings help us reclaim our birthright as ecological beings and, with it, an Earth-honouring vision centred on practical spirituality. Her embodiment practices invite a revolution in our understanding of what it means to be human.

Her work has integrated inspiration from her Metis Indigenous heritage, the work of Emily Conrad & Susan Harper: Continuum, Gabrielle Roth: The 5-Sacred Rhythms, Joanna Macy: The Work that Reconnects and Ayurveda.

Weaving spiritual values and ritual into the every aspect of her life,  Lorenna is committed to meaningful transformation in herself, her marriage, community and the beautiful land she calls home at The Living Centre in London, Ontario.

When we surrender the need to figure it all out and cultivate the ability to let it all in, then our earth walk becomes a sacred dance of healing and service on the planet. More than the world needs saving; it needs loving.” – don Oscar Miro-Quesada
