The Incredible Edibles: Foraging & Feasting Adventure

An in-depth journey of the many facets, values and uses of nutritional, wild and native edible plants and trees of our ecological landscape. Discover nature’s essential Permaculture plants. This practical experience of Carolinian Canada’s edible plants will cover where to find them, when and how to forage ethically, and ways to prepare them deliciously.
This hands-on workshop will deepen our understanding of our local environment and get us back in touch with local wild foods. Studying the art of foraging allows us to enjoy nature’s renewable resources and reaffirm our commitment to preserving and rebuilding our ecological riches.

Includes all workshop materials, handouts, and charts.
All lunches will be potluck style using as much as possible organic, local, wild, live-food plant-based ingredients. The centre will provide organic in-season soups, salads, herbal teas and snacks.
It does not include taxes, accommodations or travel.
