ManEarth: Fire & Water Sacred Balance

“For the last thousands of years, we have been in a great masculine imbalance. Now, for the first time, we have a chance to reach balance and stop this pendulum right in the middle. We must do that if we wish to survive.” ~ Ilarion (Larry) Merculieff, the Unangan (Aleut) wisdom keeper

This imbalance is between the masculine (fire)  and feminine (water) principles. Fire is out of control causing a great drought of the sacred feminine principle on Earth. This workshop is an invitation to dive into the watery aspects of the sacred feminine in men. Why would you want to do this?

The more feminine sensibilities of listening deeply,  being present, understanding the quieter rhythms and timings of things, sensing into circumstances, recognizing connection, intuition, valuing the unknown and embodiment are potent abilities available to all genders. The masculine’s dynamic fires when coupled with the free-flowing waters of feminine energy bring inner balance, peace,  self-healing, spiritual self-mastery and a new form of power that protects and serves all of Life.

While Fire is naturally vital, the high-stress demands of the industrial culture with its pressure for production, power and success have led to the depletion of many men’s life-force (fire) and consequently, a depleted world.

You will learn movement, breath and sound processes that balance Fire and Water’s great energies, yielding vitality, clarity, fulfillment, and with this an increased capacity to steward Earth’s energy in creative ways, and, in partnership with women. Expect to explore the unfamiliar and be taken to your edge. The movement processes ask you to surrender into the deep womb of original consciousness where new creativity is discovered.

“Our Fire and Water need to be in a good relationship so that good winds will blow through our minds – gentle, moist, creative thoughts that help us build a good reality together.” Arkan Lushwala, Deer & Thunder, Indigenous Ways of Restoring the World.

The feminine waters soften the linearity of the imbalanced masculine mind. It shakes things up, teaches you to see from different angles, is unpredictable and lessens control so what is naturally ready to happen can emerge.

Reconnecting to body fluidity gives insight into the inner landscape of women. The balance of Fire (the sacred masculine) and Water (the sacred feminine) is essential to our world’s healing.  Balance begins inside oneself.

I do not claim to know the deep mysteries and dynamic wisdom of the Sacred Masculine. That is for you to know and us women to celebrate. What I do know after 7 decades on our beautiful Earth dedicated to living a conscious spiritual path is how to access primal intuitive power.  Our culture does not support this in a man. This power is vital to the transformations happening now on the planet. This workshop offers processes to reclaim what has been lost through joy and connection.

The hardening of our bodies deadens us to our home. We are no longer wet with love. Love, a mysterious substance, moves like undulating memories, caressing each organ, reminding us, oh bottomless one, without boundary, that we are part of this. We are not separated, we are still one.” ~ Emily Conrad, Continuum Movement
