Spring Equinox Celebration
Honoring the Rhythms of Nature &
the Call to New Beginnings
We invite you to join us in the celebration of this magical time of year where we are called to join with nature in the exuberant process of rebirth.
During the dream-time and inward journeying that the winter season evokes in us, Nature shifts Her energy, shakes off her winter mantle and gets ready for the fertility of a new season. Seeds are planted; the Earth comes alive and is ripe with possibility. Within Her gentler breezes and warming days Nature beckons us to be lively participants in this story of creation.
Through meditations and rituals, camaraderie and celebration, we take time to tune into this special energy time on Earth to feel into what each one of us is being called to now, and to give thanks to that which gives us life.
Protection, Fertility, Wisdom, Strength, Gratitude and Joy are the essences we call upon to breath new life into what is yearning to burst forth in yourself and in the Earth.
The intention of the Birthing Peace Celebration is to generate together a flow of Peace energy which we offer to our Earth Community to bring joy and ‘a fertile tomorrow' to all it touches.
We begin promptly at 7pm. Please arrive a little early to get settled in.

About the Spring Equinox
Spring Equinox, also know as Ostara (Eostre), occurs in the middle of March approximately March 21st. It marks the beginning of Spring and the time when days and nights are of equal length. In many traditions this is the start of the new year.
Ostara (Spring Equinox) is the beginning of the fertility festivals. Buds begin to push their way through the earth to reach the strengthening sun's light; animals breed; the energies of Nature shift subtly from the torpor of Winter to the exuberant activity of Spring. It is a time of new beginnings, of action, of saying goodbye to the old and making room for the new. The light will continue to increase until the Summer Solstice June 21st.
The 21st of March ~ Spring Equinox
The 21st of June ~ Summer Solstice
The 21st of Sept. ~ Fall Equinox
The 21st of Dec ~ Winter Solstice
