and ageless in its wisdom. Ayurveda was the summation of the teachings of the ancient Rishis master of India. We will explore the nourishing wisdom of this ancient lifestyle model and the power to create physical vitality, spiritual health & ecological harmony. 

Learn how organically-grown vegan living foods are givers of life energy and have proven themselves to be dynamic helpers of diseases such as diabetes, migraines, asthma, joint pain, fibromyalgia, allergies, colitis, depression, anxiety, cancer and overall stress. This local wild living nutrition design is a foundational integration workshop that offers an exploration of ed

ible and medicinal plants, local living nutrition, permaculture fundamentals, wholistic health and herbalism principles. The workshop honours the living soil of our bodies as an essential quality with the living soil of the earth. 

We will cover practical application of topics including: ways to integrate wild foods for our daily diet, simple ways to integrate wild plants, sprouts into delicious living foods, the benefits of making cultured and fermented recipes, ancient detoxification practices for enhancing well-being, integrating herbal healing modalities and encompassing deep earth-centered skills into daily life practices.

Yet, for so many people today food is a source of conflict and confusion rather than a source of delight and nourishment. Food has been reduced to "fuel" - a listing of nutritional "value." The hundreds of food-related issues that plague our world, from weight loss dramas, eating disorders, cravings, addictions, body image obsession to nutrition related illnesses and environmental depletion can be tracked to a loss of connection with self, food and nature. 

The Ayurvedic Living Nutrition Lifestyle experience ends the relentless search for the best nutritional system, putting the knowledge and power back onto your plate (so to speak). The constitutional model of Ayurveda gives you insights into the nourishment that works best for your unique constitution. Shantree Kacera, D.N., Ph.D. and Lorenna Kacera are founders and directors of The Living Centre and Living Arts Institute (est. 1983). Together they blend their over 45 years each, of experience to offer programs that support individuals in the practice of conscious living. Lorenna and Shantree are visionaries, authors,  regenerative educators and world peace activists.

Shantree Kacera D.N., Ph.D. received his doctorate in Nutritional Medicine and Herbalism in the 70's. Since then he has been exploring the effect of local foods and herbs on one's physical, mental and emotional health. His passion and study has lead him to explore the benefits of a high energy Ayurvedic live-food approach to nutrition. He has had the honour to teach, counsel and empower thousands of individuals on their health and educational journey. He has been exploring the nutritional and ecological benefits of a live-food approach for over three decades.

Shantree is an author of Ayurvedic Tongue Diagnosis. He is an Ayurvedic Live-Food Nutritionist, Therapeutic and Shamanic Herbalist with a specialty in Forest Gardening with over 40 years experience. Shantree's deep spiritual connection to the Earth has drawn him into the teachings of shamanic and earth wisdom practices as well as Carolinian Canada native plant preservation and studies. He is a passionate edible forest gardener, and well known for his unique circular medicinal-wheel garden and medicine trail with over 1,000 species of edible and medicine plants and trees through the 50-acre botanical sanctuary. Learn more>

Lorenna Bousquet-Kacera is an Ayurvedic Living Nutrition Educator, founder of Shamanu: Earth Wisdom Teachings, a Certified Permaculture Education and Eco-spiritual coach with a specialty in evolutionary regeneration at the personal, ecological and spiritual levels. For over 45 years Lorenna has mentored ‘change makers’ from all walks of life. Her teachings help us reclaim our birthright as ecological beings, and with it an Earth-honouring vision that is centered in a practical spirituality. 

Twenty years ago, at the ago of forty-eight she intuited that the continuation of her life-long spiritual development  required changing the way she ate. The Ayurvedic Live-food approach both satisfied and delighted her, as core spiritual values, creativity and universal insights were awakened. Recognizing the vegan lifestyle as a main contributing factor to these awakening and seeing the environmental devastation and global crisis caused by our food choices, impassioned her desire to share this way of life with other.  

Lorenna offers profound wisdom and insight into the understanding of the body/mind communion. Her passion for self-realization and the awakening of consciousness has been the guiding force in her life. It is important to consider that enrolling in the Ayurvedic Living Nutrition Mentorship is both a commitment to yourself, to each participant and the group as a whole.
